The Nike Air Presto “Origins” is a bold colorway of the retro performance runner that references the many whimsical nicknames of the model’s original colorways. When the Air Presto was launched in 2000, the shoe's various colorways were given wacky nicknames such as the “Brutal Honey” and “Shady Milkman” by Nike in an effort to differentiate the shoe from its competition. The “Origins” features the graphics of the character’s nicknames from the original ad campaign arranged in a head-turning, checkerboard all-over print design on the upper. A semi-translucent TPU overlay reinforces the lacing system. Branding efforts include a “Presto!” logo on the back of the left shoe and a classic Swoosh logo on the back of the right shoe. A nylon pull tab on the heel assists with easy on/off wearability. Release date: December 17, 2020.
