The Nike SB Blazer Mid Edge “Obsidian Mist” is a Winter 2019 release from Nike’s skateboarding division as part of the “Hack Pack.” Featuring the deconstructed aesthetic that dominated sneaker culture in 2019, the “Obsidian Mist” Blazer SB features a fraying Swoosh, rough cut patch on the forefoot, and a mismatching dark navy blue suede toe cap. A sturdy light blue canvas covers the entire upper of the shoe and is contrasted by an embroidered cream Swoosh on the inner side of the design. Each tongue is doubled up, giving the shoe an interesting twist. The first tongue features an exposed foam padding in classic Blazer styling while the overlaid tongue is thinner in construction. Keeping the vintage styling of the shoe intact, Nike opts for a classic vulcanized white sole to finish off the look. The Nike SB Blazer Mid Edge “Obsidian Mist” was released on December 31, 2019.
